First Fruits Farm is a 1000 acre farm with a vision to sow seeds of Love in NC and beyond. NC ranks 10th in the USA for food insecurity (the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food). 1 out of 4 children in NC do not know where their next meal will come from. While the statics may seem discouraging, we know there is Hope. Our mission is to help our neighbors obtain access to fresh produce by growing it, donating it and teaching others to do the same. Since 2014 we have donated over 1.0 million pounds of produce. Our motto is simple: never stop giving, never loving, never stop growing.
