The venue was great, just a heads up, if you sit in the first row balcony (we did) the railing is very low so don’t sit here if you’re scared of heights. The plus side is the railing doesn’t interrup… Full review by KeithF928

What is the typical attire? We are going to see the 'Music of the Who' .

I went to the music of Pink Floyd. I wore dress slacks and a light blazer jacket over my shirt. Hope this helps! Don’t wear uncomfortable shoes, as there will be some walking! Have fun!
Thoroughly enjoy the performances, with regards to the professionalism of the musicians and conductor. I am perplexed about the extremely uncomfortable seating. Is anything being done to enhance the comfort and space of the seats? We are not extremely large individuals and the seats seem to be very small. Our son is a large guy, stands approx. 6'5". He could not endure the full experience due to the extreme discomfort. It's sad that we have such a great orchestra and a really nice symphonic venue, yet the seats are miserable.

Where were you seated? I am debating between Orchestra section row Y vs. Mezzanine Box seats for Porgy and Bess in February. I'm just not sure if the Mezzanine Box seats would be further away than the Orchestra section.... Decisions, decisions!

To be honest, you cannot go wrong with the views no matter which ticket you decide to purchase. The last time I was there, I had seats in the Mezzanine Box and they were great as you are on the second story and you can still easily see the stage without any obstructions. I also feel it is a bit more intimate up there with less ruckus, less people, etc. There is way more happening in the Orchestra Rows as you are on the ground level (most popular seats!) and you are a lot more "up close and personal" with events on stage. Sometimes when there are interactions from the stage, they only occur with people around the Orchestra Rows so it makes it a bit more exciting because you forget that there are even people sitting behind you! Personally, I'd probably pick the Orchestra Rows because I enjoy being engulfed by the sounds and you tend to find all your friends up there coming to see the same show! There is a different buzz happening on the Orchestra Rows when you are anxiously waiting for the show to begin! However, again, you can't go wrong either way!! Enjoy!
