The museum arranged in order and exhibits are authentic. I went by myself and spent good 2 hours in all the exhibit halls. It wasn’t tiring unlike huge museums where there are big pieces on display… Full review by Bluette B

An amazing and surprising museum in a residential neighborhood of San Jse with elaborate Egyptian exhibits and beautiful gardens. Definitely worth a trip. Full review by William B

Hello, Bob! Can you tell me how long it would take to see the museum in its entirety? I'm flying down from Seattle and want to know whether I need to book an overnight stay or if I can do it in a day. Thank you, Marian Smith

This wonderful museum is not the British Museum - it is quite do-able in 2-3 hours depending upon your level of interest. It is quite impressive and ahd gardend and a labyrinth, too.
Will a curious and bright 5 year old be frightened? This particular child is quite well behaved and has visited many museums, but I'm concerned that the subject matter might be a bit too much.
A:
Nothing would frighten a 5-year-old. All the mummified animals and people are in one room, so you can avoid that room if you think the child might be freaked out.
What is the best way to get there from San Francisco without a car
A:
Probably Caltrain from the City to San Jose and then Uber or a taxi to the museum. You can 'google' Caltrain for the cost, schedule and station locations.
