It was such a nice experience. You can get an authentic experience walking into the dzong. Once you go inside the more sacred space, cameras are not allowed, but you are able to hear and see the monk… Full review by Dallasworldtraveler

Simtokha Dzong is the first fortress built in Bhutan. It was built in the 17th century and saw some action unlike other dzongs of the land. No photography allowed inside. Full review by Ron S
