Dear Julie, it all depends on the severity of the impairment. The floor inside is not too bad however, it is made out of sandstone so it isn't perfectly smooth. There are lumps and bumps …

Dear Julie, it all depends on the severity of the impairment. The floor inside is not too bad however, it is made out of sandstone so it isn't perfectly smooth. There are lumps and bumps and in the dimmed light can catch someone with a balance issue unawares. We took my niece, who can walk with difficulty and needs a chair most of the time. She was able to get out and walk on the majority of the tour. (We went at our own pace) If it is an age thing, there are benches to rest on. Top Tip: Take a small torch to light the floor. I hope you find this useful and enjoy your visit.
