The statue is small and not even that well-done, in my opinion. Certainly not worth the amount of tourists that flock there. Luckily we were catching a bus nearby otherwise there was no point going. Full review by casshannah91
How far of a walk is it from where the cruise ships dock?

It depends on the cruise ship size and which port it uses. Consider finding out with your tour guide. Find information by asking the port to be used in Copenhagen.
It is free. You just see it a few meters away when you walk down by the water on "Langelinie", or on your way to the park; you can take a few steps down on rocks to get close and take a picture.
