Hi Dan we are in Quito for 3 days prior to a Galapagos tour but are unsure about whether to stay in the Old Town area or closer to the Hotel we will start out tour. We love walking wherever possible but happy to get transport to places like the Middle of World /Cable Car etc. any advice. Thank-you

I recommend staying in the old town, there are many fabulous churches to visit and lots of great walking through the historic centre.
