Kids don't like it here anymore, construction, train was disappointing, animals are sad. Trying to sell an Airstream at the end of the train ride? Habitat for racoon? Not good. Full review by Jon G

For a small zoo, it was very impressive. Very clean, staff were awesome. The shows were the best. Color Bears were my favorite. They entertained the kids there. I will be back Full review by Michael C

Dang, their website doesn't contain that info! Try "hoglezoo" The most it says is that "Utah’s Hogle Zoo dates from 1931 and is located at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. Its natural terrain covers 42 acres of tree-lined pathways where visitors can view over 800 animals." I think that dsjhoward is probably about right at somewhere around 2 miles. It's not a large zoo. (I was surprised at how small it was.) We spent a couple of hours there, but most of that time was standing or sitting to observe the animals.
I don't live in Utah but my daughter and her family live there on the AF base. Would you recommend a Family Membership for them? Kids are 10,12,14,16 and was wondering if this is a one time visit zoo or if they would enjoy several times a year? The oldest son is confined to wheelchair so I was thinking this would be a great family gift for all to share.

A family pass would be great and i would definitely say they would visit more than once a year. It is very wheelchair friendly.
I want to know how to rent an electric cart at the zoo.
A:
Call the main number (801) 581-1700 and request an electronic convenience cart. The cost is $25.00/day. Am Ex, VISA, MASTERCard, and discover card are accepted.
