ATLANTA — The game between the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because of a winter storm. The Rockets’ game on Saturday vs. the Hawks was postponed “due to the severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area," the NBA announced.

A snowstorm that brought freezing temperatures and black ice have forced the NBA to postpone Saturday's game between Houston and Atlanta.

The Hawks-Rockets game is only one of three NBA games to be postponed Saturday. The Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs bout, along with the Los Angeles Clippers-Charlotte Hornets game, have both been postponed as well due to the fires in the Los Angeles area.

Led by Trae Young, the Hawks (+5.5) went 2-0 against Houston last season while averaging 128 points per game in those wins.
