The big thing working against Davis is that he went on record in several interviews confessing to being involved in Pac’s murder. In 2008, he allegedly confessed to the murder as a part of a “proffer agreement,” meaning that anything he told investigators at the time could not be used against him in court.

Charged with the rapper’s murder in 2023, Duane “Keefe D” Davis has pleaded not guilty and is set to stand trial on March 17. However, his time behind bars has been anything but smooth.

Davis, 61, was charged with battery by prisoner on Sunday at the Clark County Detention Center — where he has been in custody since his arrest in September 2023.
