US President Donald Trump has said Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has done a "very good job thus far" and that the pair have a "very good relationship". Speaking to the BBC on board Air Force One, Trump added he would be having a phone call with Sir Keir "over the next 24 hours".

The findings come as the latest Techne poll shows just 25% of voters would back Labour in an immediate election, with 24% supporting the Conservatives, 24% behind Reform UK, 13% backing the Liberal Democrats and seven per cent opting for the Greens.
