New Plymouth Argyle head coach Miron Muslic says he has been impressed with the support he has had in his first few days in the job.

Muslic watched from the directors' box when Argyle caused a massive FA Cup upset by beating Premier League club Brentford 1-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon before briefly returning home to Belgium to prepare for his new life in Plymouth.

Plymouth Argyle have appointed Miron Muslic as their new head coach. The 42-year-old Austrian succeeds Wayne Rooney at the Championship's bottom club and has signed a three-and-a-half year deal. Muslic was most recently the manager of Belgian side Cercle Brugge from September 2022 until his sacking last month.
