The NatWest Group includes NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank, and it’s just announced another wave of closures. A total of 53 more NatWest branches will shut across the country, in addition to one which was previously announced. They’ll all close before June 2025.

On Friday NatWest became the latest bank to announce a raft of branches being shut permanently, with 53 branches earmarked for closure this coming year. Natwest joins Halifax, Lloyds, and Bank of Scotland, which each have announced their own bank branch closure programmes for 2025.

NatWest has announced it will close five of its branches in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. In East Yorkshire, the Willerby branch will close on 29 April. Goole will close on 14 May, Bridlington on 11 June,

NatWest is closing four branches in Cheshire, amid a mass nationwide shutdown of 57 sites. The high street bank has promised to give at least 12 weeks notice to customers as it prepares to shut up shop in multiple UK locations.
