If the beginning of Liam Coen's tenure in Jacksonville wasn't messy enough, a moment during his introductory press conference didn't inspire confidence in Jaguars fans. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator took the Jaguars' vacant head coaching job after Jacksonville parted ways with general manager Trent Baalke and told Coen he could pick the new GM.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen was officially introduced on Monday, with Coen holding court alongside owner Shad Khan at the Miller Electric Center for the first time.

“At the end of the day, it came down to business ,” Coen told Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times regarding Coen’s clandestine exit. “It did. It came down to family and business and a dream that was right in front of you. Not maybe down the road. How do you say no to that? . . .
