Jamie Oleksiak and Eeli Tolvanen scored 49 seconds apart in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit and rally the Seattle Kraken past the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2.

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ 4-2 loss against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday at PPG Paints Arena was a fitting conclusion to a dreadful five-game homestand that saw them go 1-3-1. This sequence of games on their own rink commanded considerable gravity.

Trailing by a goal to the Penguins entering the third period, the Kraken got a pair of scores 50 seconds apart and secured another comeback win.

As first responders continue to battle the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County, several organizations have sprung into action to help them as well as those impacted by the fires. That now includes the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are joining and promoting the effort to raise funds for the California wildfires. The team announced on Tuesday that all of its proceeds from game's 50/50 raffle would be donated to LA County Fire Relief through an initiative being coordinated by the Los Angeles Kings.
