In a now viral Facebook post, video captured an extremely rare sighting of an endangered whale species along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Capt. Bobby Kelly, Owner of Miss Brianna’s Fishing Charter, captured the moments he saw two right whales while boating in Perdido Pass on Sunday.

This video of two rare whales is stirring up a lot of talk among marine biologists because of how rare it is. The whales are two of a species that has an estimated total population of 370, and they were spotted in an area that is not commonly visited by this type of whale.
