A law firm representing victims of the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles has submitted photos with a legal filing on Wednesday that appear to show exposed wire at the base of a Southern California Edison tower that the firm alleges may have contributed to the deadly blaze.

Altadena resident Evangeline Iglesias is suing Southern California Edison, alleging the utility company failed to shut off the power in time despite weather warnings about hurricane force winds. Edison International CEO Pedro Pizarro denies the allegations and says the company has "not seen evidence of sparks coming out of our lines" and that it follows yearly wildfire mitigation plans regulated by the state.

A new video suggests the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California was started by a transmission tower. The utility company said there is no evidence to blame for the wildfire.
