Two Macy's stores in Minnesota are among the dozens of impending closures announced by the company on Thursday. Stores at the Maplewood Mall and Burnsville Center are part of the batch of 66 across the country.

Macy’s is moving forward with plans announced last February to close 66 stores, including two in the Twin Cities.

Macy's says they are closing stores in in Burnsville and Maplewood. The news come on the heels of a a string of national closures from the company.
