Walker Kessler is putting together a stellar third season for the Utah Jazz. The young big man has once again been a standout on the defensive end of the court and has continued to develop as an impactful offensive player.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers have tried to acquire Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz “many times.” The Jazz have a high asking price for the center.  Kessler has appeared in 35 games for the Jazz this season.

When Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler was 18 months old, he spent nearly a week in Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital. Now he’s determined to raise money for the hospital so that other kids can be helped as he was at a time when he was “very, very sick,” as his mother puts it.

Kessler likely injured his left shoulder during the Jazz's 125-103 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday, during which he registered 11 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 29 minutes.
