Man, 43, shot dead inside north Minneapolis apartment, police say
MINNEAPOLIS — A 43-year-old man is dead after he was shot on Thursday night on Minneapolis' north side, according to police. Officers were called at about 10:30 p.m. to a residence off James and 11th avenues in the Near North neighborhood on a report of a shooting.

It happened Friday at the Aldi on the 1300 bock of Franklin Ave. According to the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD), a security guard confronted a man inside the store around 8 p.m. and "attempted to use mace" on the man when the confrontation escalated.
