Parts of northern California could see up to a foot of rain, but Phoenix will remain dry and warmer than usual.

The storm brought heavy rain and high-elevation snowfall to Northern California over the weekend, and a similar one is brewing.

The Bay Area woke up on Tuesday to the sound of pattering rain from a winter storm that soaked the region overnight, and forecasters say it’s only expected to intensify as a cold front moves through this afternoon.
