Reports around the National Football League indicate the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn will have a second interview with the New York

The New York Jets have had the widest search in the league for their vacant head coach position and it seems to have paid off. New York has been looking to fill the role after a tumultuous 2024 season and hit the decision out of the park.

Aaron Glenn, who oversaw the Detroit Lions defense the last four years, beat out 15 other candidates for the New York Jets head coaching job.

"I'm excited to welcome Aaron Glenn home as the head coach of the New York Jets," said Jets Chairman Robert Wood Johnson. "Aaron earned this opportunity through almost three decades of NFL experience – ten with us as a player and a scout.
