  1. Dutton ranch size? : r/YellowstonePN - Reddit

Jan 21, 2021 · At a .83% tax rate, that puts the value of the land at $662,650,602.41. At an average price per acre of $2,066 in Montana (2018), the ranch is around 320,740.85 acres. But I doubt Jaime tripled the size of the ranch, and Rhode Island is over 700,000 acres. Best bet is they just kind of make up these comparisons the actual size is unknown.

  2. Question: how many acres is Yellowstone Dutton Ranch?

Jul 3, 2020 · However, on google it says the ranch that the show is based on is only around 10,000 acres. Also it seems like way too few wranglers to handle a ranch the size of Deseret Ranch (the biggest ranch in the US irl) which I believe has hundreds of cowboys. So, just how big is the Yellowstone Dutton ranch? Thanks so much!

  3. How big is the Dutton ranch? : r/YellowstonePN - Reddit

The story line and reality do not match up with a ranch of this size. If they are the largest ranch and have 500k to 1 million acres of land it would have a thousand or so employees. From running cattle, feed lots, farming, haying and a lot of other small operations. A ranch of this size would have its own vet, medics, mechanics, shops and a ...

  4. Dutton Ranch is worth how much?! : r/YellowstonePN - Reddit

Dec 24, 2022 · While those specific 50,000 acres could be (extremely unlikely) worth $10,000/acre, the entirety of the ranch wouldn't be worth nearly that much. The ranch isn't one uniform piece of ground. Different parts will have different values based on what it …

  5. Size of the theoretical Dutton ranch? : r/YellowstonePN - Reddit

Jun 12, 2024 · What is the size of the theoretical Dutton family ranch? I have e searched and can’t find d anything. Admittedly I have not watched 1923 but all of Yellowstone and 1883. In real life I believe the King Ranch in Texas is the largest family owned at around 825,000 acres. Has it been mentioned how much land John Dutton actually owns?

  6. Yellowstone Special Edition Ram Trucks Coming? : …

Dec 7, 2021 · Heck, Ram even sponsored the Season 4 Premiere of “Yellowstone” with several commercials aimed specifically around the show. Beyond that, there was a scene where John Dutton talks about the King Ranch in Texas and the legacy of that ranch saying that they even got their logo emblazoned on a pickup truck.

  7. How many cattle does the Yellowstone have? : r/YellowstonePN

Nov 30, 2022 · According to the poster he said a herd of 100 cattle would bring in $100 per cow at market which means he would only be making $10,000 a year. He would need 1,000 cows just to make 100k. I'm beginning to understand how the Dutton Ranch loses money every year cuz we aren't seeing hundreds of thousands of cattle on screen.

  8. Is it me or are the cattle actually comically small in number

The Duttons have a ranch the size of road island which is about 660k acres. Now, a ton of the ranch is woodland, mountains, rivers and streams, etc. So that cuts into the total grassland acreage and therefore affects the total head of cattle you can have. The kings ranch is 800k acres and sustains about 40k head of cattle on average.

  9. Discussion: Would you try to sell the ranch? : r/YellowstonePN

Jan 31, 2023 · The ranch does border the Yellowstone National Park. I´d sell a good portion of the land to the park, so it can still be preserved and it wouldn´t be my problem keeping it anymore. I´d keep the rest of the land for business like Beth suggests and turn it …
