Feb 20, 2018 · I’m experiencing regular problems with using the ESPN app on my 4th gen Apple TV. Every time I launch it to watch a sporting event, I’m asked to activate the app with my TV provider. After successfully activating, it will work until the next time I watch a different event on ESPN, then I get prompted to activate again.

May 18, 2019 · It does not bring up the activate screen. So, when I go to my settings, it shows that I am logged in with my YouTube TV account, so I am having to manually log out and log back in and it will work perfectly. I am doing this multiple times a day. Is anyone else having this issue? I have contacted ESPN streaming and they submitted a work ticket.
