However, the weather radar does work if I select the 'stormy' preset. I do not use any addon weather plugins and I have read just about every forum post on this subject.

Jan 3, 2025 · You can use the weather radar without using manual settings, (moving the slider). The radar works in moderate to heavy rain with real weather.

Mar 4, 2024 · After adding WEATHER_TRANSPARENT to the overlay, it no longer relies on the overlay for snow accumulation but reflects the snow accumulation based on the X-Plane ground texture.
