If you are cut & paste the previous drawing and move the pieces around to create the frames of your animation, you didn’t draw each frame by hand, and by definition, you didn’t have hand-drawn animation.

Jun 2, 2020 · The most important hand-drawn animation tools to me are the onion skin, the light table, the timeline, and of course pencil and paper (on the computer, like Pencil2D). I feel that the timing chart can be easily supplanted with the timeline.
