Jan 20, 2022 · Originally the Heresy was designed as a center channel speaker for the cornerhorns. They were always way shouty for my ears. I am told the newer ones have been calmed down some. Hope so. To me Heresy is not the Klipsch modeI would choose but then I would go JBL or old Altec first. Looking for the bigger compression horns.

Nov 13, 2023 · Love my Heresy IIIs and did not like the plastic diaphragm in redesigned mid horn of the IVs, preferring the sound of the titanium IIIs. Have wondered if the Forte IV suffered the same as the Heresy. The Heresy requires a good front end for sure, and with that they're great (I use a couple of REL subs with mine).

My amp is on the verge of damage from losing plate current control at normal listenig levels with my objectively good and still very sensitive Focal Arias. With the Klipsch Heresy speakers, it produces power in spades without any struggle or warning lights.

Oct 13, 2005 · The Heresy is placement sensitive and less tolerant in non-acoustically treated rooms. If you are building a home theater system around the Heresy You should be looking at using 5 Heresy's or 3 Heresy's up front and the KPT-100 for surround duty. Both the RB-75 and the Heresy will require a subwoofer with the ability to keep up with the speakers.

Heresy IV vs Zu DW6/Soul mk2 - Audiogon Discussion Forum
Jul 7, 2023 · I had the Klipsch Heresy IV, they were dynamic for sure. An SVS sub was needed for my taste. I experienced a good amount of listening fatigue though. I sold them in less than a year. I cant speak on the Zu speakers, they look great and get very positive reviews here at AG. May want to see if you could get a listen to both if possible.
