Jan 25, 2024 · In advance of announcing its full-year results for the year to 31 December 2023 on 14 March 2024, Capricorn provides the following update on operations and trading performance together with guidance for 2024.
Capricorn | Senegal Update
Dec 17, 2024 · Capricorn has been notified by Woodside Energy (“Woodside”) that all terms and conditions have been satisfied under the sale and purchase agreement relating to the disposal of its production sharing contract (PSC) interests in Senegal, with Capricorn anticipating the receipt of $50m in January 2025.
Capricorn | UK North Sea contingent payment update
Dec 19, 2023 · In line with the expected 2024 contingent payment, Capricorn will receive a sum of $50m cash through an initial payment of $48m in December 2023, followed by $2m at the end of Q1/24. An additional $22.5m will be due in early January 2025.

May 21, 2024 · The Share Consolidation will reduce the number of Capricorn’s issued ordinary shares by an amount that reflects the value of the 2024 Return of Cash to shareholders relative to the market capitalisation of Capricorn prior to the 2024 Return of Cash.

Capricorn | Change of Company Name
Cairn plans to change its company name from Cairn Energy PLC to Capricorn Energy PLC, effective from 13 December 2021. The LSE stock ticker will remain as CNE. This follows an agreement at the time of the Cairn India IPO that the name would ultimately be changed.

Jul 3, 2024 · Capricorn intends to announce its half-year results on 19 September 2024. In advance of these results, the Company is providing an update on recent operations and the Group’s production guidance for 2024.
